Main Automation Contractor (MAC
This document contains the technical requirements and execution strategy for a Standardized Purchase Agreement (SPA) for a Main Automation Contractor (MAC), covering the engineering, purchasing (if applicable), supply, coordination, execution, installation and commissioning of an automation system for the STAR Project.
This document will cover the main aspects and refer to all relevant other documents for the STRAS STAR project MAC. This document will detail:
· the expectations and benefits from a MAC SPA
· the scope of supply and services
· the contractual form and execution steps
· the schedule covering the various phases of the procurement activities, from the FEED phase to the start of the EPC phase of the project
· initial responsibilities for Owner/PMC, EPC and MAC for EPC phase of the project (attachment)
· requirements for Table of Compliance and MAC supplier execution plan

10. MAC Project Execution plan
MAC supplier’s quotation shall include a well defined Project Execution Plan, which should cover the following aspects:

- How the MAC intends to cover all the interfaces in the various stages (EP&C) of the project

- How the MAC would achieve standardization on MAC equipment and implementation and intends to roll out the execution with different locations of the EPC contractors

- Proposed responsibility matrix

- Organization chart including proposed main execution centers and support centers

- Proposed project schedule with critical phases

- Statement of ownership for third party integration

- Change management procedure
