1.0 Executive Summary
This HAZOP report is for the TFP project which provides an additional 48 inch
pipeline from TRF to the FRS (Fujairah Receiving Station) in FRS in order to supply
up to 1.6 BSCFD of natural gas to serve the immediate and future gas requirements
of one of Dolphin’s major customers.
The HAZOP Team members comprised of personnel from Worley Parsons, Dolphin,
StroyTransGaz, FAPCO and ALSTOM. These team members provided the range of
knowledge and expertise required for a comprehensive discussion. The HAZOP
Team members and their attendance are listed in Table 4-4 and Table 4-5 .
A total of 11 nodes were selected for review. The nodes along with the design
information and drawing references are presented in Table 4-6 . Where necessary,
recommendations were made with the major ones being:
o Ensure design review action no: 5 to blow down section is suitably closed out
o Ensure SIL study is completed
o Decision to be made whether full or partial stroking is required to meet
maintenance requirements and SIL validation of all SIL rated loops
o Consider splitting the duty of the XV 410 into two duty valves and compare
reliability with single XV 410
o OHL study to be completed and recommendations to be implemented
o For all wadi crossings, review free span potential and possible impact on
pipeline
o Remove remote operation capability on all filter MOVs and amend P&IDs
accordingly
o Consider provision of water supply in vicinity of filters and receivers
o Internal management of change review to include preparation of pigging
facilities for the 40 inch line
o Dolphin to request ADWEC to pass on Dolphin / ADWEC operating protocol
information to FAPCO
o Dolphin to identify signal exchange from FAPCO and advise
o Identify all the critical flanges and place them on hold for operations
inspection during the bolting and leak test
A full list of Recommendations is shown in Appendix C |
