1 Scope
1.1 This Engineering Procedure (EP) provides instructions for the development and approval of the Integration Test Procedure Document for all Integrated Process Automation Systems.
1.2 The Integration Test Procedure is a document that specifies and describes the conditions, requirements, plans, procedures, success criteria, and responsibilities for performance of the integration test.
1.3 This document is only required if the project is delivering an Integrated Process Automation System (IPAS). The IPAS is a system with two or more Process Automation Systems (PAS) linked via a common backbone or a wide-area network. Examples of IPAS are DCS/MIS, SCADA/MIS, and DCS/SCADA. Systems connected by serial interfaces do not fall under the category of IPAS.
1.4 The Integration Test Procedure is part of the Requirements as described in EP-. It is required that this document be approved by V. prior to any integration testing |
