PURPOSE AND SCOPE
The purpose of this procedure is to describe the personnel responsible and the actions required to perform Projects (PPG) receiving and inspection activities at facilities.
Operations Technical Projects warehouse personnel shall be responsible for checking the projects material received. See attachment # 1 for a detailed PPG personnel task list. In the event the shipment requires technical evaluation or inspection, Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) department shall be notified.

The Project Proposal is a document, which establishes the detailed design scope, cost estimate basis and schedule for a proposed facility from the conceptual requirements included in the Design Basis Scoping Paper (DBSP). This includes the proposed facility size, general layout and the appropriate functional and performance specifications including the recently published applicable standards & codes. Project Proposal shall be of sufficient detail to prepare a ±10% accuracy ER estimate, provide sufficient technical information for proponent review and (where applicable) provide sufficient information to obtain Lump Sum Turn Key (LSTK) or detailed engineering contract bids.

EP outlines the procedure necessary to prepare the required Environmental Impact Statements (EISs), included in the Design Basis Scoping Papers (DBSPs) for major capital projects, and in the expenditure requests for Miscellaneous Capital Items. This EP also outlines the procedure necessary to prepare the required Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) for major projects and for projects with a significant environmental impact.

The Project Execution Plan (PEP) is a strategic planning document that defines objectives, plans, requirements and related information necessary for optimum project execution. It is a master reference guide that promotes common understanding and alignment of all project participants. The PEP is prepared by the Project Manager, with input from the Proponent and other organizations that have key roles in a project's execution.

Large industrial plants commonly use multiple parallel equipment trains for improved reliability. Very often, installed equipment capacity far exceeds normal production requirements. This excess capacity can be translated into energy cost savings through “optimum load management”. The purpose of this New Best Practice is to describe ways in which energy efficiency improvement can be achieved for different kinds of equipment.
|
Purpose
The purpose of this Practice is to provide a spare parts guideline for the life cycle support of rotating equipment. It defines the key factors used in identifying spare parts requirements and quantities and provides those who approve spare parts acquisition the assurance that recommendations are based on an objective process.
1.2 Scope
This process applies to new construction, expansion, or revamp projects, maintenance, and stocking of rotating equipment parts inventory. .
1.3 Application
This Practice provides a Four Step Process that should be followed in sequence for selection and management of rotating equipment spare parts. The Four Steps, explained fully in Section 5, are as follows:

The purpose of this document is to convey conventional and widely accepted design practices used in industry for the engineering, design, and assembly of Process Analyzer Systems. Practitioners of this discipline are aware that each Process Analyzer System is a unique and customized entity. This document is intended as a prompt to an experienced analyzer systems engineer to ensure that a safe, reliable, and maintainable system is designed and engineered
|
Purpose
The purpose of this Practice is to provide an initial reference for engineers preparing to deal with compressor vendors, for process engineers, and for project managers.
Scope
This Practice provides overall guidelines for selecting an appropriate compressor for a specific process

Thee "project plan" refers to your schedule, budget and all the other project management deliverables that you use to manage your project. Whether you're managing small, medium or large projects, you need to keep your project plan up-to-date on a regular basis. We recommend you update your Project Plan on a weekly basis.
It takes discipline to make sure all the project management processes and deliverables are up-to-date. But, on the other hand, if you do this work weekly it will not be so time-consuming.
Step 1: Update the schedule
Step 2: Update financial status
Step 3: Update all tracking logs
Step 4. Determine if any other project management artifacts need to be updated
